First Shot Day

Our First Shots days are designed to introduce novices to the sport of clay shooting in COMPLETE SAFETY with expert tuition from an experienced professional Instructor. The FIRST SHOTS day package  includes all instruction, gun hire, clays and cartridges, lunch and all day refreshments. Why not come along with a friend or even buy the day as a gift. Places are limited so please book. Your day will begin at 9:30 with tea/coffee/biscuits, and a greeting from your Instructors. An introductory lecture on gun handling, safety etc. will then take place in the Gun Room, and you will have the opportunity to see and handle the wide range of guns on display. Your Instructor will then take you out to the shooting Ground and the practical part of your day begins. With a short break for lunch (which is included in the cost of the day), shooting will continue until 3:00 pm.

Novice Lessons

For those wanting to give clay pigeon shooting a try. The novice lessons are conducted in a specially set aside area which is not open to other shooters, so there is no audience to put nervous beginners off. Lessons are held Saturdays or Sunday by appointment, but where possible we try to accommodate walk in lessons.

Disabled people are extremely welcome, we have appointed parking facilities and level paths to help you enjoy your shooting experience at Broomhills.

The lessons include a qualified instructor, gun hire, hearing and eye protection and 25 clays and cartridges. £25 per person on weekdays and £35 per person on weekends.

Improver Lessons

Your Instructor will observe your shooting and help you improve your shooting technique. You will shoot on a variety of stands – all clays, cartridges, hearing and eye protection and use of a gun are include in your lesson. £45 per person on weekdays and £55 per person on weekends.

One to One lessons

A must have if you are looking to develop and perfect your technique, improve your average, or polish up on your shooting skills. Your Instructor will help identify any flaws and help your correct them. Your lessons will be tailored to fit your individual needs. £84 per lesson and includes 50 clays and cartridges.

Air Rifle

Your one hour one to one lessons will be tailored to fit your individual needs. Issues of safety, stance , trigger pull, optics etc will be covered. Cost £30 for 1 hour.

Crossbow, Archery or Argocats
